Hello everyone and welcome to another month of the Treasure Hunt. Well, it’
s April and I’ve been cleaning up my desk and cleaning out my office in
preparation for the start of the new school year. I’ve been sorting through
old activities and papers, deciding which to keep and which need to go to

A very Happy New Year to all LET members. I hope everyone had a relaxing
and enjoyable holiday. This month we are going to go back to stories.
This time, however, we will not be looking at listening or reading
stories, but rather making them. Recently, a number of sites have
appeared that let visitors make their own stories by selecting pictures
and adding text. These stories can then be saved and shared. This gives
teachers all the tools they need for a very nice communicative writing
activity. With some sites, the options include not only pictures and
text but also music and video, requiring, of course, a faster internet
connection to work well.
