Tefl.net is resource site for all things related to TEFL. At theirsite is a long list of resources that almost any teacher can makeimmediate use of. There is information about teaching, discussions andarticles on teaching topics, and lots of materials you can use in yourclassrooms. The site even features a worksheet generator where you canquickly make your own worksheets for use in class.http://www.tefl.net/esl-lesson-plans/worksheet-generator/

This site is very much for classroom teachers, and CALL-focusedteachers may not find much of interest, with one exception that is―theSite of the Month list. Each month Tefl.net chooses one site for itsaward. And for the rest of this column I’ll give you a taste of someof the recent winners.

LessonStream: An eclectic collection of lesson plans (“colorful, fun,and meticulously-organized”) by Jamie Keddie is the winner of theApril Site of the Month. There are some very creative lesson planshere and it is a good place to get some interesting ideas even if youdon’t adopt any of the lesson plans as they are.http://lessonstream.org/browse-lessons/

ESL Games World: This site with both printable and interactive gamesis the March Site of the Month. The games are pretty basic, but thereare some clever twists that make them entertaining.http://www.eslgamesworld.com/

EFL Teaching Recipes: This site (that I believe I introduced manymonths back when it didn’t yet have much content) is the Februarywinner. This site is a collection of activities contributed by usersaround the world. Lots of good ideas here (though you’ll need to dosome serious browsing…). http://teachingrecipes.com/
